Three "R"s
Reduce: Prevent pollution, save energy, and send less to the landfill by reducing the amount of trash you create.
Reuse: Reuse items by avoiding disposable products, buying used instead of new, and borrowing from others. Recycle: Collect materials with the recycling symbol and make sure they go to a recycling plant, instead of throwing them in the trash. (from the United States Environmental Protection Agency) |
